Overall:

I'm very glad to be posting regularly. But I am almost even happier to be on track with my reading goals and getting a jump start on one of my challenges. This is shaping up to be a great year! I didn't get to one book on my TBR list for the month, but a read a book for one of my classes, so I still got to 10.

July in Review

Once again I'd like to apologize. My computer died completely about two weeks ago. I tried to keep things going, but it was too hard to find access to a computer that I could work on the blog with. Then I bought a new computer but didn't have time to really use it because I had orientation for the college that I'm going to in the fall. But here I am, about ten days after my last post, ready to pull it all together again.

I read 8 books this month (you can check them all out in the Books Read page)
I reviewed 4:

What I Didn't Say by Keary Taylor
My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick
One Breath Away by Heather Gudenkauf
Book Tour: The Sundered by Ruthanne Reid Review/Giveaway

I reviewed 0 movie(s) this month:

Challenges so far:

I read 63/100 books towards my personal goal.
2/5 books for the 2012 Book Blogger Recommendation Challenge
3/6 books for the Zombie Challenge 2012
0/7 books for the 2012 Finishing the Series Challenge

Blog Changes:

Once again just some adjusting of buttons.

Overall:

Unfortunately I only read 8 books again this month. I really need to pick up my game before college starts! I also didn't review much, but at least I have an excuse for that. Even worse, I haven't made progress on my challenges, which really disappoints me. I really hope to excel this month and share with you my happiness with my 4 year blogoversary.

June in Review

I'd like to start off by saying that I'm sorry that the blog has been a bit quiet for almost a week. There was a pretty bad and big storm Friday night and I lost power and access the internet until yesterday. Things will be back on track now!

I read 8 books this month (you can check them all out in the Books Read page)
I reviewed 8:

Henry Franks by Peter Adam Salomon
Purity by Jackson Pearce
It's Our Prom by Julie Anne Peters
Serpent's Kiss by Melissa de la Cruz

I reviewed 2 movie(s) this month:
Chernobyl Diaries
Snow White and the Huntsman

Challenges so far:

I read 55/100 books towards my personal goal.
2/5 books for the 2012 Book Blogger Recommendation Challenge
3/6 books for the Zombie Challenge 2012
0/7 books for the 2012 Finishing the Series Challenge

Blog Changes:

Once again just some adjusting of buttons.

Overall:

I did pretty good this month until my whole area was without power. I should have read more since I didn't have distractions, but it was just too miserably hot and I had to entertain my sister. Besides, I do most of my reading at night and I couldn't read in the dark. Next month I'll have to work extra hard to catch up on my reading and reviewing. It would be nice to get in a personal book or two, which is why I'm looking forward to the near read-a-thon, it is MUCH needed.

3/6 books for the Zombie Challenge 2012
0/7 books for the 2012 Finishing the Series Challenge

Blog Changes:

Some adjusting of buttons and updating some links.

Overall:

I did pretty good this month. I didn't post for a couple of days, but it was the end of the school year for me, so I'll excuse myself. I did good on the reading front with only missing one book from my TBR pile, which I also excuse because I read a book that wasn't on the list. Next month is packed with review books as you will see in my next TBR list video. So I won't have time to read any challenge books. I hope I can do better with posting and scheduling now that it is summer!

Overall:

I am so proud of myself this month! I went above and beyond with my reading, posted everyday, and I also made a video! It went well so there will be another video tomorrow for my May TBR List. My only naughtiness was only reviewing one movie, and only reading one book for my challenges. Let's try to double those two numbers for April.

Overall:

This month was a bit of a disappointment. The last few days I go so lazy and stressed about school that I just avoided doing things all together, which wasn't smart. I only read 8 books, which isn't bad, but a couple were pretty short. I ended up reviewing less movies and books this month as well. Though, I did get in two challenge boosk! I am feeling much more into reading, so that is good news. I have high hopes for March and I believe I can stay firmly on track!

Challenges so far:
I listened to 5/6 audio books for the 2011 audio book challenge. Which means that I fell short by one. On the bright side I listened to 5 great books and did better than I thought I would at times.

I read 88/100 books towards my personal goal. I fell short. So sue me. The first half of the year was lacking, so even though I've been doing really good the past 6 months, I couldn't make it up.

Blog Changes:

A LOT! You've already read the post explaining why, so here are the changes.

-New Blog Name
-New blog design
-New blog layout
-Some new tabs
-The removal and addition of some buttons
-The format of reviews (The book pic is larger, the description in italicized and has a background color)
-I felt the blog had too much filler posts, so instead of doing a Waiting On Wednesday each week, I would post a Books to Come once a month.

Overall:

I'm really proud of myself this year. I've had more success than I ever had. I started the year with less than 200 followers and now have over 450. I read and listened to so many books! Netgalley and Little Brown have been so amazing to me this year! Thanks for sticking with me, making comments, entering the giveaways, and reading what I have to say.

Looking to the Future

I have some goals for the blog and my booksish self for 2012..Here we go!

-Read 100 books
-Blog everyday (Not too much pressure, mistakes and other things happen)
-Comment on more blogs!
-Continue to be part of giveaway hops
-Post more reviews on Amazon and Goodreads
-Participate in more readathons/other events
-Cohost something!
-Try to post 2 movie reviews each month

Overall:

I missed two days of posting this month but that was because we lost internet for Thanksgiving weekend. I can't wait to go into the new year all strong and mighty. One of my old blog friends came back, so make sure to check out her blog at www.readingkeepsyousane.blogspot.com. I've come to the conclusion that I won't read 100 books by the end of the year. I'll most likely get to 90, but I make no promises after that. Oh yeah, and I'll listen to one more audio book to complete the 2011 audio book challenge.

May in Review

I'm not even going to mention my lack of blogging for the past two months. But this summer I plan on reading a lot and scheduling more posts. I learned that when I don't schedule posts, reviewing seems more like a chore than something I enjoy doing. Once again I give you my pathetic stats. Tomorrow I'll post some summer goals.
